What is the Pilot Mother project?

Pilot Mother (Kotiäitiluotsi) is a three-year ESR+ project of the Humak University of Applied Sciences. The project aims to develop and test peer mentoring-based pilot mother activities for stay-home-moms. The purpose of the activities is to support the participation, active agency, and employment opportunities of immigrant mothers. At the same time, the project seeks to positively influence the society’s receptiveness, population relations, and employers’ attitudes, in order to lower the barriers to the recruitment of immigrants. The project is co-financed by the European Union.
